He was predeceased by: his parents, Espedito Senes Capizzi and Ida Celia Capizzi (Luczak); his brother Leonard Capizzi; his aunt Antonetta Capizzi; his uncles, Calogero Capizzi and Samuel Capizzi; his parents-in-law, Arthur Smith and Celesta C. Smith; and his sister-in-law Florence Tischbein.
He is survived by: his wife Celesta Isabel Capizzi (Smith) of Indiana; his daughter Jennifer Capizzi Opalka (John) of Dingmans Ferry, PA; his grandchildren, Emma Leskin, Samantha Opalka, Bryn Leskin, Melissa Opalka and Brennan Leskin; his brother Samuel F. Capizzi (Becky); and his nephew Anthony L. Capizzi (Kristy).
