It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jay Shaffer of Indiana, Pennsylvania, born in Penn Run, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Torrance B. Shaffer and Grace Coy Shaffer; and his siblings, Margaret M. Shaffer, Jean M. Copeland, Robert "Bob" Shaffer and Roy "Wayne" Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Kamer Shaffer of Englewood, FL.; his sons, Jeffrey Jay (Cindy Davis) and David Scott Shaffer (Janna Kuhns); his granddaughter Trista Helman Shaffer of Indiana; and his sisters, Helen St and Clair. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
