He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Garrettson (Reeves) and James A. Garrettson, Sr.; his children, Christine Anne and Adam; and his brother-in-law Bill Walker.
He is survived by: his cousin Alice Garrettson; his friends, Bill Collar, Joe and Virgil; his wife Deanna Garrettson (Walker); his daughter Gwen Rifici (Lou) of Medina, OH; his grandchildren, Jeana Mahramus (Anthony) of Lakewood, OH and Jonathan Rifici (Melissa) of Lakewood, OH; his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Oscar Mahramus; his daughter-in-law Jolene; his siblings-in-law, Don Walker and Donna Walker (Passo); his cousins, Bill, Tim and David of Michigan; and also Bill, Jr.. He is also survived by family members include his nieces and nephews.
