We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2021, at the age of 92, Irene Swanlek-Ray of Indiana, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Douglass and Twila Douglass (Blakely); her former husband George Swanlek, Sr.; her husband Dick Ray; and her siblings, George Douglass and Georganne Fennell.

She is survived by: her children, George Swanlek, Jr. of Indiana, Steve Swanlek (AnneMarie) of Indiana and Susan Swanlek (Donald Hairston) of Indiana; her grandchildren, Brian Swanlek, Scott Swanlek (Melanie), Aaron Swanlek and Kelly Swanlek (Casey Swanlek); and her great grandchild Sophia Swanlek. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to VNA of Indiana County, 850 Hospital Road, Suite 3000, Indiana, PA 15701.
