He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Wier and Laura Wier (Kerr); his son Mathew Dean Wier; and his siblings, Newton, Donald, Louise, Marion, Ray and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Lisa Wier, Lynn Wier, Laurie Wier (Josh Fisher) and Clayton (Erica); and his great grandchildren, Bradyn Weaver, Piper Wier and Mitchell Wier. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
