He was predeceased by: his father Bert, Sr. Byers; and his brothers, George (Elsie Overman), Calvin Overman and Ted Byers. He is survived by: his spouse Candis C. Byers (Jones) of Indiana; his daughters, Kimberly Forrester (Scott) of Indiana and Michelle Henry (William) of Knox; his granddaughters, Kelly, Kristen Forrester, Paige and Abbey Henry; his sisters, Beverly Byers of Indiana and Joyce Crossland (Charles "Buck") of Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Overman of Indiana, Joy Byers of Indiana and Mark Jones (Patricia) of Home. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
