She was predeceased by: her parents, Malhon DeForno and Pauline DeForno (Tomashosky); her husband C. William Whitesel; her son Charles; her in-laws, George and Hazel Whitesel; her sister Nora; and her brothers-in-law, Nick DeLuca and Norman Whitesel.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Swasy (Roger) of Lake Wylie, Darla Mathe (James) of Indiana, Dale Whitesel (Kathleen) of Indiana and David Whitesel (Judy) of Indiana; her grandchildren, Maria, Seth, Joy Swasy, Tyler Swasy (Katherine), Adam Mathe (Alyssa), Marita Mathe, Tricia Lehocky (Drew) and Patrick Whitesel (Amber); her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Violett Lehocky, Marveyah Whitesel and Morgan Mathe; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Whitesel (Kay) and Elizabeth Whitesel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church in memory of Alice.
