He was predeceased by: his parent David Snyder; his daughter Catherine Sherman; and his sisters, Shirley Grant, Rosella Nicklow and Catherine Bish.
He is survived by: his parent Velma Garletts Snyder; his wife Donna Saylor Snyder; his children, William Snyder, Jr. (Melissa) of Connellsville and Shirley Mishler (Kevin) of Indian Head; his grandchildren, Matthew, Abigail, Sarah Mishler, Jonathan Sherman and Christian Snyder; his great grandchild Isabelle Basinger; his sister Molly Stewart of Connellsville; and his foster son Rick Snyder (Kate) of Normalville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
