He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hiskell Hoover and Duella Ritenour Hoover; his wife Grace Nedrow Hoover; his children, Jeffrey Hoover of Indian Head, John Hoover (Sarina) of Indian Head, Jerry Hoover (Tina) of Indian Head, Jody Lagola (Gary) of Maryland, Joyce Zelenske (Steve) of Somerset and Jay Hoover (Stacey) of Mill Run; and his grandchildren, Jessica Davis (Andrew), Jordan Hoover, Jocelyn Hoover, Nicholas Lagola (Nora), Neil Lagola, Joel Zelenske, Derek Hoover, Kara Hoover and Kylee Hoover.
Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Valley Veterans, In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial.
