He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Hines and Janice J. "Fluff" Hines (Minor); and his brother Bill Hines. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Rathbun (Boyle); his children, Amanda Thomas, Samantha Rathbun, Tricia Winder and Joshua Rathbun (Renee McCoy); his grandchildren, Breannah Johnson and Sophia Rathbun; and his siblings, Dorothy "Dolly" Hines, Richard Hines (Dee), Margaret "Maggie" Rosemeir (late Scott), Edward Rathbun (Bev), Brenda "Mini" Swet (Metro), Fred Hines and Robert "Bob" Hines. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anthony G. Staab Funeral Home, Inc. (900 Chartiers Ave, McKees Rocks, PA 15136). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Chartiers Cemetery (801 Noblestown Rd, Carnegie, PA 15106).
