He is survived by: his children, Michelle Newton and Ron Newton; his grandchildren, Nickay Swaby (Kerone Creary), Adrianne Newton, Ryan Newton, Jonathan Newton and Janelle Newton; his siblings, Collin, Robert, Clarice "Sweetie", Merna and Dorrette; and his caregiver Miss Rose.
