She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert C. Cool and Lenor Cool (Nowatney); and her husband James W. McCaffrey. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Dawn McCaffrey (Ron Hayes) and James R. McCaffrey (Kirsten Wasylson); her grandchildren, Khylinn, Griffin Hayes (Hope Collins), Maura and Brian Foy; and her great grandchildren, Khylas Hayes and Josie Foy.

Memorials in her name can be made to one's favorite charity.
