He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Earl and Florence Evelyn McCarty (Bartlebaugh); his wife Sharon Mary Acker; his daughter Tracy Lyn Lightner (David) of Claysburg; his grandchildren, Chelsey Karl (James), Andrew (Mariah), Alan (Samantha) and Kyle Lightner; his great grandchildren, Elias and Payton; and his sister JoAnne Mauk (Harold) of East Freedom.
