He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl M. Ernest and Adele L. Ernest (Peck) of Ickesburg; and his wife Doris E. Ernest (Wagner). He is survived by: his daughters, Erica Horvath (Joe) of Dover, PA and Heather Cataldi (Virgil) of Loysville; his grandchildren, Brigitte Shanholtz (AJ) of Carlisle, Brady McNaughton (Anna) of Cheyenne, WY, Nolan and Daphne; his brother David Ernest (Helen) of Ickesburg; and his close friend Donna O'Shell of Enola.
