She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Mary Elizabeth Smith (Ritchey); her husband Robert S. Burkett; and her siblings, Georgie Russell, Ruth Kroll and John Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Robert David Burkett (Sarah Jones), Mary Marie Yorke (Michael) of Hyndman and Christine Loraine Snyder (Robert Sr) of Hyndman; her grandchildren, Shauna Burkett, Shelby Burkett, Jessica Minnick (Travis), Sarah Jarrett (Kristopher), Kayla Jarrett (John), Cody Murray, Elizabeth Snyder, Robby Snyder and Daniel Snyder; her great grandchildren, Kamden, Kallen, Tristan, Austin, Kyleigh, Braelynn, Ella, Ezra, Macy, Delayne and Kacyn; and her sister Laura Bowers (Wes) of Mt. Savage. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family defer the cost.
