He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Emerick and Belma Emerick (Baer); his wife Gloria Jean Emerick (Logsdon); and his daughter-in-law Lisa Emerick (Evans). He is survived by: his son Steven Emerick Sr.; his grandchildren, Kelly Carnell (Troy) of Hyndman and Steven Jr. (Chelsea) of Hyndman; his great grandchildren, Kaylee and Grayson Harshberger; his stepgreat-grandchildren, TJ, Emily, Shania and Lucas Carnell; and his siblings, Dorothy McCoy (John) of Hyndman, Susan Larson (Ron) of McConnellsburg, Glenn Emerick of Hyndman and Manford Emerick (Wilda) of Hyndman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic the family will conduct the funeral service privately.
