With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. Burkett of Hyndman, Pennsylvania, born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Breakiron and Regina Yeagley Franks; her husband Donald Leroy Burkett; her stepfathers, Melvin Albright and Joe Franks; and her sister Betty May.

She is survived by: her children, Donald L. Burkett Jr. (Shirley) of Culpeper, VA, William Burkett of Hyndman and Diana Crapo (Michael Sr.) of Brentwood, MD; and her friend Lynn Shoemaker. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and the first great great grandchild.
