He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sr. Christner and Nancy Christner (Horner); and his sister Jeanne Himes. He is survived by: his former wife Winifred Christner August (Shaffer); his wife Patricia Carroll Christner (Bagley); his sons, Gary E. Christner and David L. Christner (Jenn); his grandchildren, Krista Christner of Hyndman and Austin Christner of Hyndman; and his siblings, William Christner (Lee) of Goldvein, VA and Sarah Ann Campbell (Glenn) of Hyndman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
