She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerald N. Barrett and Jeannette M. Barrett (Roberson); her son Alan E. Leister II; her grandchildren, Tyler Leister and Hope Leister; and her siblings, James "Moe" Barrett and Kathleen Herath.
She is survived by: her husband Alan E. Leister I; her son Shawn W. Leister (Shelly); her daughter-in-law Christina M. Leister; her granddaughters, Dr. Alyssa Bartlett (Travis) and Shania Emerick (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Sawyer Gwendolyn Bartlett, Charlotte "Charlie" June Emerick and Rhys Alan Bartlett; her sister Gerri Yaider; and her siblings-in-law, John Herath and Judy Barrett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made Hyndman Area Rescue Squad or Hyndman Londonderry Lions Club.
