She was predeceased by: her parents, John Aloysius and Ida Grace Cavan (Madden); her husband Ray V. Evans; her sisters, Mary Ethel McCormick and Sarah Frances Burkett; and her nephew John McCormick, Jr..
She is survived by: her brother John E. Cavan of Winchester, VA; her children, Gregory R. Evans, David A. Evans (Brenda) of Tucson, AZ and Gail L. Sides (John) of Vail, AZ.; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Nathaniel Beyor), Palos, Matthew Sides of Vail, AZ, Alex (Casey Evans) of Tucson, AZ., Erik Evans of Tucson, AZ., Parker Jolene, Thea Violet, Landon Bodie Beyor and Levi Ray Evans; and her nieces and nephews, Dennis (Patti McCormick), Terry McCormick, Rosemary McCormick, K. Patrick (Julie McCormick), Morgan (Cheryl McCormick) and Sandy McCormick (late John McCormick).
