He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward T. Lewis Sr. and Mary Alice Lewis (Hitchens); his stepmother Margaret Lewis; and his siblings, Edward Jr., Charles "Chill", George Lewis, Hazel Robinson, Wilda Emerick and Catherine Blough.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lewis (Poe); his daughter Darlene Travis (Tim) of Cumberland; his half-siblings, Ralph Lewis and Sandy Minnick; and his sister-in-law Helen Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
