He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira W. Smith and Edith Smith (Lease); his wife Dorothy "Dot" Smith (Twigg); his siblings, Lester, Ira Smith, Beulah "Boots" Leady and Thelma Jones; and his daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Dietz (Bill) of Hyndman, Edith Clites (James) of Hyndman, Frank Smith Jr. of Cumberland and Glen Smith of Cumberland; his sister Helen Hill of Cumberland; his grandchildren, David, Chrissy, Tina, Bobbie Sue, Ashlee, Lisa, Misty and Johna; his great grandchildren, Courtney, Austin, Michaela, Cory, Bryce, Kateria, Taylor, Hunter, Arisyn, Rylee, Madisyn and Braxton; and his great great grandchild Jayce.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses for the family.
