He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Leydig and Gladys M. Leydig (Emerick); his brother Junior G. Leydig; and his grandsons, Justin W. Leydig and Garrett W. Pensyl.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria J. Leydig (Emerick); his children, Steven E. Leydig (Tammy) of Hyndman, Jerry W. Leydig (Connie) of Hyndman and Jena Pensyl (Gary) of Buffalo Mills; his sister Cherlene Scritchfield (Ron) of Hyndman; his grandchildren, Crystal Walls (Cassius), Stevie Leydig Jr. (Tammy), Angel Stowell (Ethan), Jessica Leydig, Corrie Shroyer (Andrew), Shania Leydig, Mariah Pensyl (Corey), Casey Fitzwater Chelsea (Priscilla) and Cody Fitzwater; his great grandchildren, Jentezen, Abby Walls, Rachel, Alyssa, Emily, Hannah Leydig, Ezra, Micah Shroyer Layna Lantz and Max Imler; and his grandchild Capri Muri.
