He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Askey and Pauline Askey (West); and his siblings, Mary Beth Askey and Robert Askey. He is survived by: his daughters, Bobbi Sue Young, Marsha Coble (Scott) and Glenna Gentzyel (Jeff); his grandchildren, Michael Askey, James Ogden (Justine), Melissa Quickel, Matthew Lonjin (Ashley), Molly Sartin, Jennah Nishida and Brandon Nishida; his great grandchildren, Madison Ogden, Jameson Ogden, Drake Leija, Wyatt McIntyre, Makenna Askey, Marlee Askey and Aloura Lonjin; and his sister Catherine Blasko.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory (113 N 3rd St, Clearfield, PA 16830). A memorial service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
