She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bone and Lilly Bone (Barraclough); and her siblings, John, Charles, Howard, James Bone and Ila Jean McCormick.

She is survived by: her husband Edward J. Schantz of Hyde Park; and her sons, Russell A. Schantz of Hyde Park and Terry L. Schantz of Allegheny Township. She is also survived by four grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
