She was predeceased by: her parents, Albino Corso and Elizabeth Corso; her husband William H Carter; her siblings, Albert Corso, Helen Vuksta, Mildred Kuszaj and Dolores Achtzehn; and her grandson Lou Muro.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Hill of Marietta, Donna Getchey (Joseph "Buddy") of Hutchinson, Cindy DeNunzio (Jeff) of Herminie, Donald "Duck" Smouse (Brenda) of Lowber, William "Billy" Carter Jr. of Monroe, NC, Kim Raviart (Scott) of Jeannette and Billy Joe "Bear" Carter of Monessen. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
