He is survived by: his parents, Mabel E. Strait (Kerlin) and Kevin Strait of McConnellsburg, PA.; his close friend Christina M. Nichols; his daughters, Elizabeth Nichols, Patience McMullen and Katherine McMullen; his siblings, George McMullen (Sherri), Sandra Kling and Johanna Snyder; and also Jonah Nichols (Grace). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family of John has requested that donations be made to the Community State Bank, McConnellsburg, PA for savings accounts that have been setup for his children.
