With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Barnhart of Hustontown, Pennsylvania, born in Harrisonville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Blanche (DeShong) and Norman B. Strait; her husband Larry "Gene" Barnhart; her children, Ditha H. Mellott and Norman E. Mellott, Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Maye Bookheimer, Helen M. Peiffer, Raymond R. and Kenneth L. Strait.
She is survived by: her son Ray O. Mellott, Jr.; and her stepdaughter Sherry DeShong of Harrisonville, PA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
