He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter D. Shope, Jr. and Irene Shope (Harpster); and his siblings, Connie Lou Shope and Brian D. Shope. He is survived by: his brothers, Thomas A. Shope (Romona) and Gary J. Shope (Lynn). He is also survived by three nephews and one niece; and two great nephews and one great niece.
Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Word of Life Fellowship Church.
