Valarie Jaye Pepple Obituary
Valarie Jaye Pepple, 57, of Huntingdon, was welcomed into Heaven on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Born on March 17, 1966, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Alice L. (Johnston) Kohlbecker. On August 23, 2003, in Bellefonte, she married Gary Pepple, a devoted husband and partner in life.
Valarie graduated from Bald Eagle Area High School in 1984 and continued her education, graduating from what was called Centre County Vocational Technical School in 1985. She then went on to earn her LPN from South Hills School in 1997. Sheworked as an LPN for Centre Crest and then continued that career with Centre Care in Bellefonte. She was a member of the Hesston Community Chapel.
Valarie enjoyed listening to all sorts of music, spending time on the boat, and volunteering at her local senior center. She enjoyed taking in the fresh air of the spring and fall, listening to the sounds of nature and the birds, while walking and reflecting on life and connecting with Jesus. She found joy in her church and faith and sharing those passions with others, in hopes to brighten their days. She was a great friend, kind and always willing to listen and offer counsel when needed to those she cared for. In high school, she was voted for best personality, and anyone that knew her would understand why. The moments that she cherished the most, were moments spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
Valarie Jaye Pepple will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. May her loving spirit and positive attitude continue to inspire us all.
Along with her husband, Valarie is survived by her sons, Drew King (Ashley) of Millheim and Davis King of Lock Haven; four beautiful grandchildren, Easton, Kason, Darien, and Kayleigh; her brother, Vincent J. "Joey" Kohlbecker, Jr (Earla) of Milesburg; and her four loving canine companions.
Along with her parents, Valarie was preceded in death by two brothers, Scott and Gregory "Pickle" Rosenberry.
