Stuart Alden Stiffler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stuart Alden Stiffler of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 21, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father James Henry Stiffler; his brother Stanley J. Stiffler; his wife Muriel; his son Douglas (Jingxia); his daughter-in-law Jingxia "Judy" Yang; his daughter Christine Nayal; his son-in-law Murad Nayal; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan Stiffler, Dani and Jackson Nayal.
Before the pandemic, he very much enjoyed meeting up with friends he lovingly referred to as the "old codgers group," at the Standing Stone Cafe.
He was a Big Brother to a young man who needed a friend and mentor, and he sponsored children through the charity Children International. People wishing to honor Stuart's lifelong love of libraries and humanitarian work may send contributions to the Hiram College Library or Doctors Without Borders.
