He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin H Heine and Ivagene Kurtz Heine; and his son Dr. Martin Kurtz Heine (Laurice). He is survived by: his wife Alice Edwards Heine; his sister Jane Heine Brown of Huntingdon, PA; his daughter Jennifer Heine Vidmer; his son-in-law Gary C Vidmer of Davidson, NC; his stepsister Barbara Detwiler (Ronald) of Huntingdon, PA.; his grandchildren, Lyndsay G Barlow (Edward) of Haddonfield, NJ, Andrew M Heine of West Chester, PA, Rebecca R Heine (John) of Durham, NC, Abigail K Vidmer of Baltimore, MD, Kurt S Vidmer (Kate) of Huntersville, NC and Grace K Heine of Cleveland, OH.; and his great grandchildren, Edward, Aiden and Evelyn Barlow. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Huntingdon Presbyterian Church (508 Mifflin St, Huntingdon, PA 16652). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
As Steve wished, instead of flowers, memorials may be gifted to the Huntingdon Presbyterian Church or the Huntingdon Park and Road Association.
