He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Raymond and Jacqueline Swope (Lemin); and his siblings, Carol Herring, Betty Klinger, Delano Swope and Leo Swope.
He is survived by: his children, Joanna Smith (Donald) of Huntingdon, Naomi Swope of Mifflintown, Stan Swope Jr. of Freeport, Nathan Swope of Acme, Adam Minor of Rockwood, Roy Miller of Center Hall and Leroy Swope of Philadelphia; and his siblings, Shirley Bollinger of Everett, Joanne Gilbert of Waterfall, Gloria Pennell of Sadsburyville and Fred Swope of Oxford. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
