It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D Pittenger of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Pittenger and Opal Pittenger (Hummer); his former wives, Mary Ann Taylor (Martin) and Ann Patricia Pittenger (Constantine); and his grandson Michael Brian Shepherd.
He is survived by: his family, Robert D Pittenger, Jr. (DJ) of Atascadero and Tina R. Shepherd of Atascadero; his grandchildren, Michael Kusko, Matthew Pittenger, Warren Pittenger (Carleen) and Nicole Garcia (Joseph); his wife Connie Kough Pittenger of Huntingdon, PA; his stepdaughters, Betsy R. Quigley (Thomas) of Penns Valley, PA and Susan R. Hartman (David, Sr) of Hesston, PA; and his grandchildren, Liam S Quigley, Finnegan K Quigley and Emily P Hartman. He is also survived by grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Atascadero Historical Society, Atascadero Police Association, or the Atascadero Printery Foundation.
