She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred C. Sollers and Arlene Sollers (Woods); and her sister Donna Tanfani. She is survived by: her sister Carol Webb of Mill Creek. She is also survived by four nieces and one nephew, and several great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as, a number of extended family.

Memorial contributions in remembrance of Mildred N. Mickel may be made to the Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602 or to the Logan Township United Fire Department, 611 Grandview Road, Altoona, PA 16601.
