He was predeceased by: his parents, John Houck, and Ruth Houck, Sr. (Lightner); his close friend Mary Jane LeBon; his daughter Heidi Gross; and his sister Hazel Meyers.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda L. Weko (Metz) of Alexandria and Brian Houck (Tonia) of Warriors Mark; his grandchildren, Katie Weishaar (Jim) of Taneytown, MD, Ruthanne Weko of Alexandria, Sarah Scott (Elmer) of Huntingdon, Hailey Houck of Warriors Mark, Daniel of Pottsville and Hunter Gross of Pottsville; his brother Don Houck (Hannah); and his son-in-law Terry Gross. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
