He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Kalos and Margaret D. Kalos (Loftus); and his sister Lynne Hamaker (Kalos). He is survived by: his wife Diane J. Schock; his children, Michele Rupert (Sam) of Huntingdon, Lisa Rudy (Troy) of Hollidaysburg, Lori Work (Steve) of Virginia, James M. Kalos of Huntingdon and Bethany Hall of Colorado; his grandchildren, Michael "Boomer" Kalos, Matthew, Bryant Speck, Erick Rupert, Nick Rudy, Margo Rudy-Muir (Jared), Deanna Arbogast, Madeline Lambert, Demi Work, Ali and Joshua Flint; his brother Richard T. Kalos of Huntingdon; his cousin John A. Loftus of Alexandria, VA; and his nephews, Dan Hamaker of Huntingdon and Brian Demko of Maryland. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
