She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy L. Chaney and Louise A. Chaney Adams (Arcq); her siblings, Louise Pryor, Mary Hoffman-May, Ruth George, Darlene Horton, Raymond Chaney and Robert Adams; and her stepsisters, Gynell Adams and Irma Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Donald C. Steele, Sr.; her children, Donald C. Steele, Jr. of Huntingdon and Danielle C. Steele of State College; and her close friends, Barbara Foose and Cynthia Mayes.
