In the vast expanse of eternity, Glendell shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Glendell farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Swafford and Evelyn Swafford; her husband Bernie Ambrose; and her stepfather Harold Spalding. She is survived by: her children, Bret (Brenda) of Prairie Village and Amy (Mini-Goldendoodle) of Richmond, VA; and her siblings, James Swafford (Phyllis) of Odenton, MD and Rovena Claxton (James) of Grand Marais, MN.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the John B. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. (417 Washington St, Huntingdon, PA 16652). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends that memorial contributions (if desired) be made to the Huntingdon Humane Society, 11371 School House Hollow Rd, Huntingdon, PA 1665, or the American Cancer Association.
