He is survived by: his children, Earl Hewitt, IV (Susan) of Indiana, PA, James Hewitt of Indiana, PA and Jessica Walsh (Richard) of Christchurch; his grandson Earl Hewitt; his great grandchild Earl Ezekiel Hewitt; his brother Anthony Hewitt (Jan) of Gibsonia, PA; and his close friend Carol Weaverling of Huntingdon.
Due to the current pandemic, a private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
