We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2020, at the age of 63, David L. Skipper Sr. (Huntingdon, Pennsylvania), born in Mapleton Depot, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Eugene Skipper, Sr. and Violet Skipper (Asper) of Virginia; his son Christopher Travis Skipper; and his siblings, Judy Skipper, Wilbur Eugene Skipper, Jr., Mary Ahmed, Samuel Charles Skipper and Thelma Ashman.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy McCartney; his children, Heidi Reed (Darren) of Huntingdon and David L. Skipper, Jr. (Deann Miller) of Mount Union; his grandchildren, Lexi Skipper of Midwest City, OK, Logan Skipper of Huntingdon, Austin Snyder (Chelsea Beck) of Mount Union, McKenzie Bennett of Altoona and McKayla Bennett of Huntingdon; his great grandchild Aiden Snyder of Mount Union; and his siblings, Esther Brockert (Richard) of Gaithersburg, MD, Ruth Noesner of Glenside, Herbert Skipper (Tona) of Mapleton Depot and Daniel Skipper (Gayle) of Prescott, AZ. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in remembrance of David L. Skipper, Sr. may be made to the John B. Brown Funeral Home, P.O. Box 242, Huntingdon, PA 16652, to assist with final expenses.
