She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hawn and Verna Hawn; her husband John Shingler Sr.; her daughter April Miller (Hawn); and her brother Danny Hawn.
She is survived by: her son John Shingler Jr.; her granddaughter Kendra Shingler; and her sisters, Peggy Himes and Sue Whitsel. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
