He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bonnie; his children, Sharon Carlin (Jim) and Carl Kanefsky (Cathy); his grandchildren, Sean Carlin (Danielle), Sam Kanefsky, Adam Kanefsky, Ryan Carlin (Logan Leeds), Stephen Kanefsky (Alexandra Rosen) and Rebecca Carlin; and his siblings-in-law, Rabbi Fred and Marian Kazan.
