It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Louis Ponente Sr. (Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ponente and Doris Ponente; and his sister Denise Mastrosante. He is survived by: his spouse Michele; his children, Nicole Westervelt (Todd), Tina Koch (Bob), Stephen Jr. (Amber) and Regina Fanelle (Bart); his grandchildren, Connor, Chloe, Bryce, Sean, Tate, Brendan, Roman, Blair, Drew, Leo, Adriana, Massimo and Louis; his sisters, Joanne Nicastro (Vince) and Frances Podgorski (Joe); and his in-laws, Joanne (late Mike), Jeanette (late Don), Nancy (Mike) and Helen (Jon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Albert the Great Church (212 Welsh Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020).
