With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Sloan of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2024 at the age of 97. As we bid Elizabeth farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elizabeth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wandrum and Elizabeth Wandrum (Hendry); and her husband Richard N. Sloan. She is survived by: her children, R. Bruce Sloan (Beth), Jane Oronzio (Wayne) and Mary Ann Belisle (Thomas). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
