He was predeceased by: his wife Caroline R. Schoen; his son William R. Schoen; and his grandson Edmund G. Schoen, Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, Earl G. Schoen, Jr. (Linda) and Edmund G. Schoen (Wanda); his daughter-in-law Joan Ladden Schoen; his grandchildren, Evelyn, Earl G. Schoen III, Elizabeth, Eric, Chris Blake and Kim Schoen; his great grandchildren, Philip, Gabbie, Brandon, Samantha and Benjamin; and his brother Harold Schoen (Marie).
