Richard John Swanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2025, at the age of 63, Richard John Swanson of Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernadine Swanson (Garjulis) and William Carl Swanson; and his brother William Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Swanson (Emmert); his children, Ashlee Parisi (Peter) and Richard John Swanson II (Sara); his sister Carol Stetz (David); his siblings-in-law, Erin Groves (Brandon) and Paul Emmert (Christine); his niece Kaitlyn Emmert; and his nephews, Paul John Emmert Jr. and Michael Swanson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Episcopal Church (420 Main St, Dallas, PA 18612). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations to the Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, 420 Main St., Dallas, PA 18612.
