It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen W. Hillis of Hunker, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry J. Werts and Ora Mae Wilkins Werts; her husband Grant B. Hillis; her son Norman E. Gower, II; her sister Patty Zahrobsky; and her pet Mindy.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy J. Gower of Amsterdam, N. Y., Eric R. Gower (Samantha) of Greensburg, Michael A. Gower of Delmont and Valerie G. Milliron (Leslie) of Greensburg; her cousin Judy Humphrey; and her pets, Pixie, Missy and Whiskers. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barnhart Funeral Home (505 E Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, PA 15601). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
