He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian A. Rathfon and Bessie Fasnacht Rathfon; and his siblings, Marguarite Leibfried, Iola Rathfon, Melba Shultz, Frances Rathfon, Charles Rathfon and Louis Rathfon.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria A. Van Winkle Rathfon; his daughter Susan K. Coble (Thomas) of Middletown; his grandchildren, Dr. Jared Coble (Cali Peters) of Mechanicsburg and Jourdan Thomsen (David) of Hummelstown; his great grandchildren, Clara Coble and Susannah Coble; and his pet Sweetie.
