He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hoffer and Evelyn Hoffer; his wife Suzanne Irwin Hoffer; and his siblings, Nancy Hoffer and Roy "Herk" Hoffer.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy E. Hoffer (Kimberly) of Hummelstown and Thomas W. Hoffer (Debbie) of Hummelstown; his grandsons, Justin W. Hoffer and Shane W. Hoffer; his sister Wendy Hoffer of Dillsburg; and his pet Zelda.
